Troubleshooting
Pump Does Not Pump
Water
• Make sure that the water level in the
reservoir is near the top. The more water that is in the reservoir, the
less the pump has to work.
• Turn the grinder on, off, and then back
on. This will frequently make the pump work.
• Use a small plastic bottle or some similar
device to suck water into the outlet tube. With the water reservoir full, attach your suction device to the outlet end of the tube. It is very important to remove all of the bubbles from the line, so continue sucking the water through the tube until you are sure that there are no more air bubbles remaining.
• Make sure pump is properly aligned. Refer
to instructions and photo on this page.
Water leaks out
of bottom of grinder
• Make sure that water hose is not pointed
towards the motor shaft.
Loud Noise when
grinder on
• A loud noise when in use could signal
a damaged motor bearing. To prevent this damage, make sure that water hose
does not spray water into motor area.
Cannot attach Grinding
Pin to shaft when second story in place
• Usually you will have to lower the standard
bit in order to make room for the second bit or pin. To lower the standard
Slip-On bit, remove the 1" bit and adaptor, then use the Allen Wrench
provided to loosen the set screw in the 3/4" Slip-On bit adaptor and
lower the adaptor to the desired position.
